Dr. Sherita Parks
Sherita received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Information Technology and her doctorate in Strategic Leadership focusing on Strategic Foresight and Systems Dynamics from Regent University.
She lives in Hampton Roads, Virginia, with her loving husband James, fur babies Pebbles and Khloe, and is the happy grandmother of Prince Parker and Princess Marvel. Sherita enjoys getting in a good workout to keep her mind and body fit in her spare time.
Sherita Parks, DSL, has over 25 years of database management, reporting, and IT leadership experience in the financial services and healthcare industries. She is the author of Reimagining Church Outreach: Partnership Paradigms for Social Change, the founder of a leadership development consulting firm, and serves on the Board of Directors for Human Trafficking Freedom and Justice International. Sherita’s primary desire and calling is to serve leaders and organizations who serve and seek restorative justice for the marginalized, abused, and underserved, seeing their humanity and partnering with them so that they can thrive and help others in their communities. With a passion for developing leaders of social change organizations, in 2018, Dr. Parks established Be Well Leadership (BWL) to offer consulting and leadership development programs to teach the benefits of using systems dynamics principles to define outcomes and measures that produce transformative sustainable results. BWL provides coaching, group facilitation, consulting, leadership development, nonprofit database design consultation, and training workshops to help leaders build innovative strategies that solve complex, interrelated social problems
